With the progress of the urbanization, the geological environmental conditions affect urban construction planning and land use planning a lot. In the present land use planning of many city, people usually pay a little attention to the effect of the geological environmental conditions and prefer the qualitative analysis than the qualitative analysis, the geological environment evaluation after the project than analysis of geological environmental conditions at the very beginning of the planning.The city of guangyuan located between the Longmen mountain, Micang mountain and the Szechwan Basin. The geological environmental conditions affect urban development a lot. According to analysis of the natural geographical environment characteristics, geological background characteristics, geological characteristics of the resources, the variation of geological environmental characteristics, the author chose9evaluation factors, set up the index system and the evaluation model in this paper, and then, finished the geological environmental quality evaluation of guangyuan city. With the results of evaluation, the author tried to analyze the land use planning of guangyuan.The author finished the geological environmental quality evaluation of guangyuan city for the first time, and adjusted the inappropriate planning according to the geological environmental quality evaluation. At last, the author puts forward suggestions for the protection of geological environment and the sustainable development.
