Experimental Study On Information Fusion Technology For Distributed Monitoring System Based On PLC And Industrial Ethernet

There are many monitoring systems in coal mine. Influenced by the factors suchas intellectual property, each system construction firms tend not to open the hardwarestructure and communication protocols, which impede more collaboration of theexisting monitoring system. Therefore, to establish a new type of monitoring andestablish monitoring systems according to this model is very necessary to makediffierent systems work together, when hardware and data structure is closed.This paper proposes a new model of the monitoring system, which is based onIndustrial Ethernet and OPC protocol. The model has a high network compatibilityand a strong ability in information sharing. Connecting with the practical situation,this paper constructs three monitoring system based on this model: Safety monitoringsystem, Air door rescue system and refuge chamber rescue system. Supported bysoftware, the three monitoring system can directly communicate and exchange datawithout the support of the ground industrial computer. The model improves the utili-zeation rate of monitoring equipments and reduce the response time of multiplesystems linkage motion in disaster relief.This paper selects the Excel VBA as monitoring client program developmentenvironment, which improves the monitoring client’s portability and data processingcapacity. And we select a commercial remote monitoring software to realize thefunction of remote monitoring and control in Wide-Area network.The monitoring system based on this model has the following characteristics:①OPC protocol can realize the communication between different systems without apublic hardware structure.②Industrial Ethernet, as the communication network, canmeet the needs of current and future mine information communication.③SPCsoftware can realize remote monitoring in WAN without a public data structure.
