Study On Career Apparel Of City’s Sanitation Workers

With the rapid development of times, the progress of urbanization speeds upincreasingly, and the urban household garbage has been a social problem that restrictsthe advancement of the economics, society, and the personal safety of the citysanitation workers. By the means of reading documents, practical inspection andexamples analysis, this paper analyzes the pictures collected according to the recentstatus at home and abroad, classifies their clothing systematically in accordance withthe difference of the clothing of the city sanitation workers due to their distinct duties,and evaluates the merits and shortages of the present business attire clothing, with theentry point of the recent status and problems of our the urban household garbagetreatment in our country.This article focuses on the moment working situation, the status of the costumesand the damages of physical and mental health of sanitation workers in Xi’an, ShaanxiProvince. By comparing with career apparels in other industries and foreignoccupation of some advanced countries, this paper discusses the apparelcharacteristics of urban household garbage cleaners. Moreover, it proposes thedemands for the cleaners’ business attire clothing and the protective measures theyshould take during their work, in order to regulate the business attire clothing of theurban household garbage cleaners in our country, and to blend the functional designwith the clothing design of them.Considering the personal safety, it aims at maintaining people’s substance, health,efficiency and comfort. In the choice of the clothing fabric, it emphasizes thefunctionalities, such as chill-proof, keeping warmth, anti-corrosive alkali, antibiosis,dust prevention, pollution-proof, etc. In style, it avoids the tedium and repetition ofthe former styles, creates new design concepts, and stresses the combination betweenthe design and the science of ergonomics. In color, it combines the corporate culturewith concepts, promoting the integration of whole beauty and function-beauty.Planning a clothing system with certain function of protection, the people-orienteddesign concept applies the protective clothing into the cleaners’ business attireclothing to reduce the rate of infectious disease and casualty accidents. In the mode ofmanagement, it insists on the principle of sustainability, to make the effective use ofthe reclamation of household waste in our city work, reflecting our concepts ofeffective protection for the environment and sustainable development of theeconomics, furthermore, to fill in the blanks in the equipment of the householdgarbage cleaners’ clothing.
