| Standby system and series system are two very important and typical system models in reliability mathematical theory. In case the working component in standby system is out of order, the work can be resumed by switching to spare parts though transfer switch. That is to say, standby system, to certain degree, enjoys high reliability. All the components in series system are in series connection. Therefore, once any component breaks down, the whole system will be out of work. In practical life or production, a complicate mechanical system in most cases works only when various components perform their own function. Hence, from the perspective of functional logic, a complex system equals with a series system consisting of several subsystems. So we can prepare spare parts for those components with low reliability in complex equipment to provide higher reliability for the system, thus maintaining a smooth equipment operation. The paper mainly researches on the reliability of warm standby system and series warm standby system both made up of three different components.Model 1: Transfer switch is important in standby system when standby components are used to replace component out of order. On the basis that switch might not be totally dependable, a research on the reliability of warm standby repairable system model made up of three different components is conducted. And all the possible states of the system are analyzed. The indexes of the system’s reliability will be solved through research method which is based on Markov repairable system.Model 2: On the basis that switch is not completely reliable, a analysis on the reliability of series warm standby repairable system consisting of three different components is carried out. On the condition of model hypothesis, the reliability indexes of the system are solved by means of Homogeneous Markov Theory and Laplace Transform.Finally, we derive the recurrence relation among models by researching the parameters relationship of the models in this paper. |
