With the development of experiments, there are more and more research interest in radially excited vector D and B mesons. Resently, the discovery of amount of new particles has caused a sensation in heavy flavor mesons research. Experiment groups discovered many unstable new particles, which might be the radially or orbitally excited state of ground state particles.Due to the unstability of excited heavy mesons, it is very hard to detect these mesons precisely in experiments, and it is also hard to quantitatively detect their decay widths, branching radios, and other physical quantity. Therefore, it is important to do theoretical research for excited heavy D and B mesons. The theoretical results can became a guidance for experiment research. Besides, excited heavy mesons are also a hot research direction in heavy flavor physics, the research for heavy mesons and their strong decays can help us learn the interaction of quarks and their property profoundly.Because of the large relativistic corrections in excited mesons, relativity must be considered in theoretical research. This paper use BS equation method to study the strong decays of many radially excited vector D and B mesons. This method is relativistic, and is fit with quantum field theory, it is a classic and effective theoretiacal approach to study heavy mesons.In this paper, the introduction of BS equation method and the construct method of BS wave function are given. BS wave function is a relativistic wave function for describing bound state, the form of BS wave function is very important. Most of researches using BS equation method also use low energy approximation, this paper also use this approximation to calculate decay width. Beside the low energy approximation, this paper also use impulse approximation to calculate expressions of hadronic matrix element, form factor and decay width. These two approximations are different in the way the calculate decay amplitude, through the results, we can learn about the advantages and disadvantages of two approximation.In this paper, numeric calculation for theoretical expressions is given. The numeric calculation are finished in computer by Fortran programing. Through solving integral equations, the numeric results of integral factors are given, and then the results of form factors and decay widths are given as well.This paper describes the programing ideas, and also provides input parameters. The calculation gives numeric results of decay widths for many radially excited vector D and B mesons. The results are compared mutually between two methods. My results are compared with the results of other theoretical researches as well. The elaborately analysis and discussion for the results are also given. The conclution shows that BS equation method is a reliable theoretical approach for calculationg excited heavy mesons. The resuts can give guidance for coming experiments, and can help experiments discover and detect more excited heavy mesons. Besides, the results of two methods shows that low energy approximation method brings less parameters, and its form factors and decay widths have simpler interior structure, therefore it is more reliabile.
