| Earthquake to the people’s lives and property security will bring serious losses. But the rural area economy is not developed, and the technology is backward,.So the rural area is always the weak link of the earthquake resistance. Under the background of rapid urbanization, the historical and cultural traditions of the villages and towns are separated by the modernization, and though using the traditional building techniques to express the culture has become a problem which must be considered in the seismic design of villages and towns. This article is from the perspective of architectural design, taking into account the aesthetic and cultural, to explore the seismic design of rural buildings.Firstly, though investigating destruction status of the building in the earthquake and acquaintance of the formation mechanism of earthquake, this paper analyzes Failure principle of building in earthquake. Then according to the failure mechanism, in the perspective of architecture, for the brick masonry structure, frame structure, Wood structure and other rural areas common structural form, combined with examples of research in the disaster area, to analyze the seismic design method can be used in rural areas.Architectural design is an important influence factor on the seismic performance of buildings. Based on the analysis of seismic conceptual design, this paper from this six aspects of group architectural layout, building size, building plane, elevation of the building, building structure and important details study combination of architectural design and seismic performance. Next, through on the basis of further summarized, this paper presents procedures for seismic design of buildings, analyzes the architectural creation under the constraints of seismic demand, discusses the seismic design of building how to combine people’s aesthetic and local culture. In this process, the author add the understanding of the current "code for seismic design of buildings", and analyzes the important significance of the current code for seismic fortification. Then, through the author’s actual project involved in the Lushan Ya’an earthquake disaster area, this paper show the concrete application of the construction design of villages and towns, and verify the above seismic methods and strategies.Finally, based on above discussion, we draw a conclusion: earthquake seismic design of buildings is the organic unity of architectural design, seismic performance, architectural aesthetics and regional culture. |
