Because the polarized properties of light contain abundant information from which we could obtain the qualities of transfer medium or detected targets, national defense, meteorological field, underwater detection, medicine field and more and more fields use the polarized properties. How to take a better advantage of the properties, stand out targets or obtain the polarized physical properties and other tasks have attracted plenty of researchers join the line that researches the polarized properties of the light.Taking polarization detected imaging as the application background and combining the interaction process of photo-thermal and substance, this paper built the Monte Carlo Method numerical model of vector radiative transfer, analyzed the differences and similarities between scalar and vector radiative transfer when the light has the process of scattering, reflection and refraction. And also, this paper wrote the relevant simulation program and after comparing with the results of documents, verified the reliabilities of built model and self-program.Utilizing the numerical method mainly researched the polarization properties of the light transmission in the semitransparent medium. This paper analyzed the influences of optical thickness, style of medium surface, surface roughness, incidence angle on the polarization properties of the light transmission. Combining the built pBRDF model of rough solid surface realized the simulation of polarization imaging of the plane, and obtained the influences discipline of Stokes vectors, degree of polarization and angle of polarization on the simulation imaging. In order to getting the material’s polarized physical properties, taking the foundation of rotated wave plat method, this paper built the measurement system which could measure the material’s Mueller matrix. Using the system measured the transmission Mueller matrix of semitransparent medium. The error of the system was obtained through comparing this measured matrix with the standard glass physical property and numerical results. This paper also obtained the blending images of different target scene which was consisted of different materials, such as mental, marvel, plastic and glass, and analyzed the influences of material style on polarized detected imaging. For the polarized detected imaging technology, the research results have important theoretical significance and reference values.
