The research filed of Asiatic black bear(Selenarctos thibetanus) is extensive.involving the investigation of black bear resources, population, distribution, population quantity, habitat selection, diet analysis, genetic diversity.Regarding the research of black bear, behavioral aspects of a single behavior or reproductive behavior of the study, there is still no more studies about the behavior of the different characteristics of the law of the bile and the black bear in captivity. The writer investigated the behaviors of 24 Captive Asiatic Black Bears by using Focal animal sampling and Point sampling for this species for a period of 9 months observation in this paper. Respectively, the statistics of the bile and non bile bear diurnal behavioral time budge and activity rhythm by using Excel 20003,as well as the different season analysis, age analysis and gender analysis for both kinds of bears by using SPSS 18.0.The consults illustrate as below:1.Through the pre-observaton construction of captive black bears behavior spectrum are as fellows:resting, coprophagia, drinking, defecation, micturition, pacing, tongue, climbing, licking, scratch, biting nails, looking, sniffing, playing, warning, fighting, stereotyped, exploring, parental and so on.These behaviors were categorized as resting, drinking, egestion, locomotion, warning, bodycare, social, nursery, stereotype and others.2.Bile black bears takes most time for daily resting with the rate ((55.88±9.64)%, (46.14±9.61)%,(38.19±8.40)%),stereotyped((0.36±6.01)%,(30.21±6.83)%,(34.96±5.29)%), locomotion((8.31±2.12)%,(8.50±1.47)%,(8.74±1.82)%)and warning behaviors ((8.11± 1.77)%, (8.34±1.95)%,(10.32±2.56)%) during Winter,Spring and Summer season.Non-bile black bears shows same behavior characteristic during Winter,Spring and Summer season with rate resting((44.98±8.63)%,(43.94±12.36)%,(39.20±10.82)%),stereotyped((30.35±5.21)%,(32.99±7. 06)%, (34.39±5.92)%), locomotion ((8.96±1.39)%, (8.38±1.32)%, (8.18±0.77)%) and warning behaviors ((8.73±1.41)%, (7.66±2.21)%,9.49±3.66)%).3.Time proportion for primary behaviors (resting, stereotype, locomotion, warning) of bile bears during age 4 to 6 respectively (43.87±7.59)%, (26.55±5.10)%, (9.93±2.23)% and (9.98±2.74)%; Time proportion for primary behaviors (resting, stereotype, locomotion, warning) of non-bile bears during age 4 to 6 respectively (39.37±8.03)%, (36.60±5.91)%, (8.65±0.95)% and (8.62±1.77)%。 Time proportion for primary behaviors (resting, stereotype, locomotion, warning) of bile bears during age 7 to 9 respectively (49.60±7.88)%, (30.47±5.35)%, (7.09±1.47)% and (7.86±1.58)% and shows proportion in (46.05±14.35)%, (28.55±7.65)%, (8.36±1.20)% and (8.64±2.87)% for non-bile bears in age 7 to 9.4.Time proportion for primary behaviors (resting, stereotype, locomotion, warning) for5.female bile bears respectively (60.41±9.07)%, (17.81±5.89)%, (6.81±1.63)% and (10.13±2.27)%; upon the female non-bile bears, the time distribution is (53.70±7.81)%, (21.47±4.30)%, (8.04±0.84)% and (10.75±2.87)% for each resting, stereotyped, locomotion and warning behavior.Time proportion for primary behaviors (resting, stereotype, locomotion, warning) for male bile bears respectively (60.41±9.07)%, (17.81±5.89)%, (6.81±1.63)% and (10.13±2.27)%; upon the male non-bile bears, the time distribution is (31.71±13.50)%, (43.68±7.60)%, (8.97±1.69)% and (6.51±1.75)% for each resting, stereotyped, locomotion and warning behavior.6.The Stereotype behavior (F=11.037, P=0.006<0.01), bodycare behavior (F=5.518, P=0.037<0.05), and other behaviors(F=6.879, P=0.022<0.05) has extremely signification difference for bile and non-bile bears during winter season; Reproductive behavior (F=9.720, P=0.009<0.01) shows signification difference in Spring for both bile and non-bile bears; But shows all of behaviors differences are not signification in Summer.7.Age 4 to 6 bile and non-bile bears has huge difference signification in daily egestion behavior (F=11.037, P=0.006<0.01), bodycare behavior (F=8.037, P=0.000<0.01) Stereotype (F=11.598, P=0.000<0.01) and Social behavior (F=8.037, P=0.015<0.05), the research also get the conclusion that difference signification in Egestion behavior (F=22.420, P=0.000<0.01) and body care behavior (F=6.580, P=0.025<0.05) in age 7-9.8.Social behavior (F=43.878, P=0.000<0.01) represented different signification for bile and non-bile male bears.Egestion behavior (F=6.580, P=0.025<0.05) get the same answer as below conclusion between bile and non-bile male bears.By discussing the results,it shows that behavior of law of captive bears is different from bears that in wild.In addition to resting behavior account for a large proportion, the stereotyped behavior is strong and locomotion behavior takes up few which is similar to the other captive animals. In a conclusion, behavior rhythms shows regularity in a certain which is also influenced by factors of season, age, gender and bile or not.
