Structural and geometry complexity of wells brings difficulties in field wireline logging process and makes the field operation complex and time-consuming. Various contributory factors exert different influence for wireline job. By analysis of different operation technique and making comparisons, this article summarizes merits and demerits of different methods commonly used, depicts the applicable conditions for each methods, gives a job plan principle for different downhole tools, introduces relevant ancillary equipment and tools used in operation, specifies the cable operation and maintenance, states weak-point selection, and offers a general instruction for tools sticking handling, thus provide a general guidance for field wireline logging operation for tough borehole e environment. Improving field operation success, decreasing the asset loss, cutting down cost and raising benefit could be achieved via the standardization and normalization of tough wells wireline logging field operation. |
