With the development of Internet technology and the popularity of mobile devices, sensors devices etc., many industries and fields have produced a large number of data, and showed a trend of explosive growth. At the same time, there contains a large number of geographic location-related information in these massive data. Usually according to the visual researches,they are about non-spatial attribute information, and most of them use conventional statistical charts to show data, analysis and interpretate data, which can not interpret the spatial information data. It is very meaningful to explore the spatial distribution and regularity of geographical objects and phenomena by exploring the geographic data visualization technology and mining the hidden-information in the data.This article, based on the research of Web front-end geographic data visualization techniques and graphics rendering performance, analysises the technical framework and the core class library of the visualization class library Echarts in-depth, and then combines with our own research and development laboratory platform CCGIS, packages the thematic geographic data analysis visualization interface. The interface has commonality and expansibility, provides a new way of geographic data visualization for CCGIS platform, and has been successfully applied in the development of a series of projects.The main contents and results of this paper are as follows:(1)Compare and analysis the functions and features of the current popular Web front-end geographic data visualization class library.(2)Research and analysis the memory model, drawing performance and optimization technology of Web front-end graphics rendering technology.(3) Analysis technology framework, source code and internal implementation of the visual library Echarts.(4) According to the CCGIS platform interface which is developed by our laboratory independently, develop the Web front-end geographic data thematic mapping library and achieve dynamic access of CCGIS map data source and thematic map type expansion, based on the Echarts component.(5) Successfully apply the geographic data analysis class library to CCGIS platform and achieve visual analysis of various geographic data, morever, apply the library to other projects’development successfully.
