In recent years, with the rapid development of China’s industrialization, the demand for natural gas, oil and coal has increased dramatically. And different types of deep wells being studied and manufactured by the drilling tool manufacturing enterprise, so that the number of wells in the drilling area is increasing. Because of the working condition of deep well is more complex, in the drilling work, the general working life of the drilling tool stabilizer is short,that is often failure, which has a high proportion in the overall failure of the assembly. It is an urgent subject to study how to effectively process the stabilizer under the premise of improving the working life of stabilizer.The traditional common lathe or ordinary NC machine tool with manual programming are used in the processing process of the major manufacturers. The special numerical control machine tool for drilling tool stabilizer and its automatic programming system are developed in the topic. The main content of the study is to study the mechanism of the NC milling process of stabilizer spiral surface, and to analyse the spiral groove milling error. Based on the C++ Builder and MATLAB mixed programming, milling parameters such as input parameters are optimized. The OpenGL components for graphics display is developed, with the C++Builder 6.0 as the development tool. The create method of the simulative manufacturing environment is studied, and the cutting simulation interface is developed by means of OpenGL,the algorithm of graph display is studied, and the geometric simulation of the machining process of drilling tool stabilizer is realized.With the C++ Builder as the development platform, the interface of automatic programming system for drilling tool stabilizer is developed. The automatic programming system has been debugged and tested, and all parts of the system can be operated reliably.Programming interface is simple and easy to use, and in accordance with the actual use of the plant environment. Through the program generated by the automatic programming system, the workpiece is tested, the data detection and error analysis are carried out on the workpiece,processed by automatic programming system of workpiece is qualified, and the program is correct. Research of the topic, provide an important and valuable theoretical basis andexperimental data, will improve the machine application technology level under the condition of the same structure, significantly improve the efficiency of milling, and take an important role in rapid manufacturing drill stabilizer for the small and medium-sized enterprise.
