Rivers play an important role in the development of cities. Based on the landscape, ecological, environmental, economic and other factors, the government has implemented a number of river realignment projects with the process of urbanization. The projects will bring a lot of ecological and economic benefits for the region. At the same time, without any doubt, the projects will transform original formation structure, and change the groundwater flow field around the area. Based on a concrete river realignment project, This paper mainly analyzes the influence of the design scheme on the groundwater flow field, and discusses the optimal solution of the minimum groundwater flow change.Focus on the influence of the surrounding groundwater flow field with the river realignment engineering, Firstly, the geological and hydrogeological conditions of the study area are analyzed in this paper. The dive layer was considered as non homogeneous, anisotropic, non steady flow, two-dimensional flow, and hydrogeological conceptual model was established. Based on the concept model, the numerical model of groundwater flow in the study area was constructed and solved by Visual MODFLOW software. The identification and verification of the mathematical model were carried out. Secondly, The influence of the length of the modified line and the construction of bank protection engineering on the flow field of groundwater was studied. The results show that: when the project taken revetment,bottom protection and the longer change line length, the greater influence on groundwater flow field. With the extension of the operation period, the influence on groundwater flow field is smaller and smaller, and the influence can be neglected in 5 years. Finally, the change of groundwater flow field caused by the project construction was analyzed and the method for how to determine a pit scheme which has little influence on the groundwater flow field was studied.This paper has positive guidance for protection of the river basin ecological environment and development of tourism.
