First, it is deduced the the central loop transient response calculation from Maxwell’s equations. Hankel transform is introduced, which can solve the problems about Bessel function. Improved Hankel transform is used to get the response of loop source frequency domain. On the basis of the forward calculation method, it is make the forward procedure about central loop transient through Matlab. Using this program, it is simulated numbers of geo-electric models such as homogeneous half space model and three layers models. On the basis of the model, it is analyzed the factors that can influence the theoretical depth of investigation for TEM. Smoke rings inversion theory in introduced, which is used to analysis the H and KH type electric model.Sandstone type uranium deposits in the southern of Yili basin in Xinjiang is the research object analysis the different observation parameter including coil number of turns, coil shape, resistivity, current, sampling time delay, stacks and gain to select the most tyrannical interference and extract available abnormal observation parameters for field data collection.After comprehensive analysis the relationship between the theoretical interpreted depth and its influence factors and response characteristics of observation parameters, which were applied to sandstone type uranium deposits in the southern of Yili basin in Xinjiang. Based on the exploration, gamma curve in logging data, optimal observation parameters are selected for data acquisition of three lines.In the process of data processing, this paper analyzes the reason and influenced factors during the process of data explain in the transient electromagnetic method. On the basis of influence factors of interpreted depth, the difference between the interpreted depth of IX1 D and theoretical investigation depth is analyzed. Forward modeling calculation of IX1 D, the relationship between the interpreted depth and theoretical investigation depth is analyzed. Analytical method is used to correct the ramp time, and wavelet analysis method is adopt to the process of data denoising. And inference and interpretation for the inversion results, it got good application effect.
