The Mutsu Bay is located in the north of the Honshu, many kinds of marine food are produced in the Mutsu Bay by fishery. The marine environmental of the Mutsu Bay changed with the influence of the human population rose, the salinity and the temperature change with the Tsugaru warm current, the effect of meteorological factors such as precipitation and so on.The 4D-Var data is used to research and analysis the characteristic of the sea water in the Mutsu Bay. It combines the advantages to the satellite data and the model-inversion data. It can be got without the restraint of the weather, and it is more flexibly and timely with the different depths and locations. The layers of the temperature and salinity, the section of the density and the T-S relation in the study area can be got to analysis the variation of the marine environment with the different seasons from 2009 to 2010, and the conclusions can apply some theory to the cultivation of marine food. The following conclusion can be got in the study that the vertical distribution and the horizontal distribution of the density, salinity and temperature changes with the seasons which under the influence of the Tsugaru warm current, the snow melting water and the amount of precipitation. The horizontal distribution appears in summer and autumn that the influence of the snow melting water and the precipitation is stronger than the Tsugaru warm current. The vertical distribution appears in autumn and winter that the influence of the Tsugaru warm current is stronger than the snow melting water and the precipitation. The marine environmental of the Mutsu Bay is under the effect of the Tsugaru warm current, the snow melting water and the amount of precipitation, the periodic variation of conditions cause the periodic change of the marine environmental which effect the habitation of the creatures in the Mutsu Bay.
