Comparative Study The Contents Of Berberine With Three Kinds Of Berberis In Qinghai

Berberis L., a kind of widely used wild botanical drug, have become an important source of medicine due to its rich content of berberine.In this text, the three plants, Berberis diaphana, Berberis vernae and Berberis dasystachya, which is widely distributed in Qinghai plateau, have been selected as the experimental material, by using the method for the determination of Sankezhen which from the people’s Republic of China Pharmacopoeia 2010 Edition to determine the contents of berberine,and the spatial dynamic variation of berberine contents in different parts of berberis have been studied in order to seek the rule of spatial variation. The results are as follow:1. The results of qualitative analysis show that the berberine is contained in all parts of three kinds of Berberis, include the root, stem, branches, leaves and fruits.2. Compared with the two conventional methods of berberine-extracting, the ethanol extract method is better than that limewater extract method and the best extraction process has been work out.3. Compared with the contents of berberines in the different parts of three kinds of Berberis L. in Qinghai Datong county from different periods, the results show the root content is the highest in the different parts, the October is the highest and the July, May are below in different periods, and the B.dasystachya contents is the highest in different species.4. In the three kind of Berberis from the six areas of Qinghai province, each highest content of berberine are in the root of B.vernae growed in Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, the root of B.diaphana produced in Huangshui River Basin and the root of B.dasystachya existed in Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.5. The two rules were got from the study of the spatial dynamic variation of berberine content:(1) The content of berberine in each parts of B. vernae showes increasing trend with latitude decreasing, the contents of berberine of B. diaphana showes increasing trend with latitude increasing and the content of berberine of B. dasystachya shows increasing and later decreasing with latitude increasing.(2) The contents of berberine in each parts of B. vernae showes decreasing trend with altitude decreasing, the content of berberine of B. diaphana showes decreasing trend with latitude increasing and the contents of berberine of B. dasystachya shows decreasing and decreasing again after a increasing after decreasing with latitude decreasing.
