Precipitation is abundant in the southwest karst area under natural condition, but due to the special geological environment, the earth’s surface perched water ability is very poor and precipitation quickly infiltrates into underground, resulting in a special phenomenon that surface water is more abundant than groundwater, so the life and product of water comes from groundwater. In the southwest karst area most of groundwater systems have no detail except few groundwater systems as the research object, so it is necessary to establish a evaluation model for groundwater system that is planning and designing stage.The storage function of karst groundwater system involves complex influence factors and it is difficult for single factor that contains little information to evaluate the storage function. This article selects evaluation factors by recharge condition, storage condition, supply condition and other related conditions. Analytic hierarchy process(ahp) is used to calculate each factor weight value, determined by expert scoring each evaluation factor score system, build the evaluation factor system; Finally choosing add by hybrid synthesis comprehensive calculation of data. The storage function of groundwater system has three grades: excellent, good and bad; Selecting the existing survey and evaluation of the groundwater system, using the established model of comprehensive evaluation, according to the comprehensive evaluation value determined to regulate function level range.The model is different from the traditional ways that use quantitative analysis of the underground space size and use observation data and the system long sequences of recharge and excretion to evaluate the method of storage capacity to evaluate the storage capacity. We consider the distribution, migration and storage of water resource and change the traditional quantitative evaluation of thinking, considering the earth’s surface factor, hydrological and ecological environment, and climate conditions on the influence of karst water resources to build the model. The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1) Determine the function of the karst groundwater system to regulate the evaluation factors.(2) Scoring system and comprehensive evaluation model is established.(3) The grading standard function of karst groundwater system to regulate.(4) The model is applicable to karst area groundwater system.
