Taoyuan copper deposits is located in the junction of Hebei Neiqiu and Lincheng County, is the region’s largest copper deposit. Tectonic position of it is sino-korean paraplatform east of shanxi fault, Taihang mountains arch beam and Zan Huang arch beam on the west side.The main area of exposure strata is the Gantaohe group of Lower proterozoic era. This research based on master ore deposit geological characteristics, Intends to use the theory of genetic mineralogy, this mine different ore-forming stages of pyrite, chalcopyrite,sphalerite typomorphic combination, morphological typomorphic characteristics, component typomorphic characteristics and physical typomorphic characteristics were analyzed, and determine the deposit ore-forming physicochemical conditions, metallogenic material source and genesis.Geological exploration through field studies and laboratory tests, mainly acquired knowledge are:Chalcopyrite and pyrite, sphalerite as the major metal minerals in the mining area,according to the test and analysis, found that rare earth elements in pyrite, chalcopyrite and sphalerite distribution, performance for the Eu and Ce losses.Electron probe results show that the main elements of chalcopyrite and pyrite, sulfur is a slight loss in sphalerite, explain the environment formed in the low sulfur fugacity, may be S was As elements such As into pyrite, chalcopyrite, sphalerite lattice instead of S. According to the mineralized alteration periods and mineral paragenetic association, pyrite can be divided into three generations,pyrite of trace element analysis results show that the pyrite mine is magmatic hydrothermal origin.Pyrite sulfur isotope test results show that the deep source sex taoyuan copper sulfur source, sulfur source mainly comes from the mantle. Fe S content in zinc blende in 15.9% ~17.50%. That magmatic hydrothermal for high- during the formation of sphalerite warm liquid. By the trace elements In sphalerite calculated results are less than 1 In/Ga, shows that the late sphalerite is magmatic hydrothermal medium- low temperature.In conclusion taoyuan copper deposit genetic types of the volcanic subvolcanic hydrothermal type deposit.
