The Research On The Absence Of China’s Technology Spirits And Its Cultivation

Technology is the most powerful driving force of the world economic and social development. However, in today’s China, the technology development situation is worrying: the slow speed of technological innovation, the low efficiency of technology implementation, the repeatedly occurrence of technology disaster, and an enormous waste of social resources. All these are closely related to the neglecting of the important role of technological spirit in the development of the technology.Firstly attempts to analyze the connotation of technological spirit in details, focusing on its great significance.Then, on this basis of the real life, it analyzes the lack of technological spirit from the perspectives of technical education and humanistic knowledge of technicians; as well as the reasons from the three aspects of special technology,backward cultural ideas and the utilitarian thoughts; it also expounds in details the serious results caused by lack of the technological spirit. Finally, based on reality, this paper explores the way of cultivating the technological spirit, that is education, the public and enterprises should assume corresponding responsibilities. The significance of technological spirit is elaborated from the spiritual perfection,and thus to carry forward the technological spirit. To sum up, this research can not only re-examine technological spirit, but also reveal the close relationship between science and technology. To a certain extent, it can enrich the study of technological philosophy, building a new bridge between technology and science, the technological spirit and the scientific spirit, which can be used as a reference.
