Many countries have devoted themselves to the depths of the ocean due to rich marine resources. Submersible plays an important role in the course of exploring the ocean. Underwater escape system matching submersible arises in order to guarantee the safety of operation personnel.A new kind of collective escape compartment was studied in this paper. Finite element numerical simulation was mainly applied to calculate the strength of the collective escape compartment pressure structure under the hydrostatic pressure and impact effect and analyze its reliability based on strength. The main contents as follows:1) The pressure hull must overcome the influence of the deep water pressure based on the working environment of the collective escape compartment deep-sea. Finite element analysis software was applied to calculate the strength response of the collective escape compartment pressure hull structure under hydrostatic pressure. The collective escape compartment pressure hull structure can satisfy the safety requirements by analyzing the calculation results. The corresponding results of deformation and stress are given.2) LS-DYNA is the most famous general display dynamic analysis program, which can simulate various nonlinear dynamic impact problem such as explosion or collision. Lagrange method was applied to simulate collision and impact of the collective escape compartment due to the collision debris. Mechanical response of pressure shell under impact action was studied and its safety was verified.3) Reliability analysis is to consider the structure parameters and the effect of assumed uncertainty to structure so as to ensure the safety of the structure. Fundamental principles and related applications of three reliability calculation methods(first-order second moment method, Monte Carlo method and response surface method) were studied in this paper.4) ANSYS software was used to analyze the effect of input variables to output variables. The structure reliability of collective escape compartment pressure hull is studied. The study provide a certain technical support for the structure reliability design.
