Pressure effects on Excitons in group heterostructures are studied theoretically.Experiments had shown the exponential decrease phenomenon of the PL intensity in a Zn0.82 Cd0.18 Se quantum well after a certain pressure. In order to explain this phenomena, the possibility of pressure tuning of strains for ZnCdSe/ZnSe single quantum wells is discussed theoretically.
