China is a mountainous country which always suffered geological hazard. On account of our fast economic development, especially the west development,there have been many constructions in losses region. And because of the geological condition in this area, it is unavoidable to created many slopes there. Therefore it is critical to find a method which meets these requirements.This paper based on the East Ten Miles Landslide, Qiaogou County, Yanan, Shaanxi,systematically researches the geological condition, essential characteristics, stability analysis and optimal scheme of treating. The specific contents are as follow:(1)geological condition Introduce the specific geological condition of the site, to prepare for the following analysis.(2)Assess the stability of landslide Through the engineering investigation of that site, identify the distribution, form, and deformation characteristics of that landslide. Through the in-site shear tests and soil tests indoor, ascertain the mechanical parameter of soils. Then analyze the stability of landslide.Utilize the finite software Midas/GTS, and adopt Mole-Coulomb model, process numerical modeling of that landslide. And the result was totally the same with what get from transfer coefficient method. That landslide needs to be treated to meet safe requirement.(3)Research of optimal treating scheme Based on the result of stability analysis, and the specific condition of that landslide, this paper integratedly analyzes the forecasting and treating method to meet all requirements. Then utilizes the fuzzy AHP to process the optimal scheme. Comparing three methods from economy, skill and the influence to environment, further identify that whether the AHP is available.
