With people’ demand for positioning accuracy is more and more higher and the satellite navigation systems develop rapidly, which make the signal quality affect the positioning accuracy of the model seriously. Due to the effects of multipath have objectivity and repeatability, which make the multipath errors become the main orientation coordinate errors. And the SNR is also get in people’s attention because of its new development. This article mainly puts forward the hypothesis of using multipath and signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) to evaluate the signal-quality data and do the analysis under different environment.In this paper, I do the main research contents include:1、The paper reviewed and summarized the multipath effect theory and its development situation in domestic and international, discussed and analyzed the problems about how to deal with multipath effect and signal-to-noise ratio errors.2、The study discussed the theory of the multipath effect and signal-to-noise ratio in detail, which included the calculation method of multipath error, the characteristics of multipath error and the calculation method of signal to noise ratio, and the mutual relationship between multipath and SNR.3、The study discussed the theory of the EMD method and its algorithm, analyzing its application in extracting the SNR trend term, comparing with the second order items fitting method, showed the rule of signal-to-noise ratio residual error with high residual Angle and time variation.4 、 The paper reached the multipath and SNR error in different observation environment.The environment included the snow, sea level reflection, surface vegetation, frozen soil environment and buildings. Discussed the influence and regular of the SNR residual errors in different environment.5、The paper compared and analyzed the GEO satellite multipath and SNR under the GPS and BDS. And discussed the multipath and SNR in different satellite type of BDS and its periodic trends with the angle change.
