In the paper, stability of two kinds of Lotka-Volterra model with delay is studied. The ma-in contents are as follows:(1) The stability of Lotka-Volterra predator-prey model with continuous delay is investig-ated. By linearizing the equations and by analyzing the locations on the complex plane of the root of the characteristic equation,the sufficient conditions for asymptotic stability of the positive equilibrium are obtained. To verify the obtained conditions, a special numerical example is also included.(2) The stability of Lotka-Volterra predator-prey model with discrete delay is investigated. Through shifting the stability analysis of the above models into a delay difference equation y(n+1)=ay(n)+βy(n-k), we can get the stability of models’inverted value when models select some specified coefficients. Some numerical simulations are given.
