The Design And Implementation Of Da Xingan Ling Spatial Database Management System Based On ArcSDE For Oracle

City is a place where modern industry and population gathered, is the sign of human civilization and social progress. After entering the 21 st century our country urbanization rate further improve, the urban size and function is becoming more and more perfect. But from the whole level of our country’s city management mode and management level can’t keep up with the pace of urban development. Hence the National Geographic Information Bureau of Surveying and Mapping in 2006 launched the "Digital City Geographic Space Frame Construction Demonstration Engineering " project, to change the status of the urban management undeveloped. DaXingAnLing is included in the Digital City Demonstration Project. Data is the foundation to build DaXingAn Ling Digital City, In order to standardize management to data, developed the DaXingAnLing database management system.This study based on terrain data, framework data, planning data and travel data etc as basic data. In the.NET platform, use of C # programming language and use of Oracle database technology, component GIS technology(ArcGIS Engine), software integration technology, designed and developed DaXingAn Ling Spatial Database Management System, and which provides support for data management of DaXingAn Ling Digital City.DaXingAn Ling Spatial Database Management System use the C/S structure mode, realize the management of spatial data and attribute data by ArcSDE spatial database engine technology and ADO technology, Set up FTP server in order to realize management of the published data. System realizes the CAD data format to the GIS data format conversion, map basic operation, data query, map browsing, data automatic updates, print out the map, and other functions, at the same time,the server and the network isolation to ensure the security of data.The paper is completed based on the system design and implementation. This paper analyses the background and the purpose and significance of the DaXingAn Ling Spatial Database Management System, introduces the theoretical basis and technical support of system and system design, and mainly studied CAD data format stratified into GIS data format and the realization of the system, finally summarizes the system characteristics, and points out the deficiency.
