Abstract/Summary:
With the depletion of the global population expanding and limited resources, human demands more resources but these resources is limited.The ocean occupied 71% of the earth’s surface area is a treasure house of resources, there are not only lots of biological resources,but also the rich mineral resources there were. Since twenty-first Century, the development of science and technology, human begins to do resource exploration of mineral resources in ocean.Underwater camera is an important way for exploration to get the information of the seabed mineral resources, served as eyes to observe the seabed. Underwater camera is used in deepsea and seabed to intake the biological and seawater flow, mineral resources and so on. Now there are a lot of underwater camera products, such as AXSUB Ax SEE57 underwater camera, Kongsberg oe14-408 underwater camera. But these cameras do not support picture preview, and aboard PC do not know what the camera got under water.This paper mainly studies the development of the remote image preview function underwater CMOS camera system based on the OMAP platform. The main contents as follows:The first this paper summarized about underwater camera development status, and summarized the research contents of this topic and the main work, discussed that the related principle.Then analyzed the composition of photographic system under water, including image acquisition and underwater lighting.In addition, in the part of image acquisition system, based on embedded Linux and microprocessor OMAP4460 as the core of the hardware platform,based on MIPI CSI2 A interface as the image data acquisition interface.Also this paper discussed the system hardware platform and modular design, including the MIPI CSI2 interface of image acquisition module, Ethernet module, storage module, and designed the hardware for the system of underwater lighting.Analyzed the system software structure and summarized the software develop process and the image acquisition part. And data network transmission part was analyzed in detail, described the whole system work flow.At the last, this paper studied the structure of deepsea package for the environment of underwater.
