The study area is located in the western Ordos Basin, LongDong loess plateau, GansuProvince, it’s regional structure belongs to south central of Yishan slope in OrdosBasin.Yishan slope is a large primary structural units developed in the center of thebasin,with the most abundant oil and gas accumulation,higher level explorationwork.However,due to constraints in exploration process, substantially all explorationmethods are traditional. But also because of the location of this region is loessplateau,it’s basically covered by loess,this all resulted in a less effective geologicalinformation extraction on remote sensing.Therefore,the traditional multi-spectral remotesensing technology play a minor role in the exploration in this area. Oil and gas microseepage theory has now been agreed by most scholars at home and abroad.This theorybelieved that reservors underground keep volatiling a variety of hydrocarboncomponents.,these hydrocarbon components could moved to the ground through variouscranny, resulting in a series of alteration phenomenon. The study area is covered by loessarea, less vegetation, bare soil,facilitating the extraction of oil and gas micro-leakageinformation in the region. On the basis of the reference methods of previous studies, in thewestern city of QingYang Experimental zone in Ordos Basin, with field samples measureddata and Hyperion hyperspectral image,this paper discussed the aerospace hyperspectralimage application process in geological processing method and its application in the oil and gas micro-leakage detection aspects,supplied a reference in the geological application ofhyperspectral.1. In connection with the application of Hyperion remote sensing imamge, referringto previous research,discussed a suitable geological application process, laying thefoundation for the subsequent data applications.2.Combining with field samples measured data,analysis the absorption characteristicsof alteration minerals which was caused by hydrocarbon micro-seepage, such as absorptiondepth, width, etc.3. Based on the analysis of typical minerals, A method is proposed which couldindicate the information of oil and gas micro-leakage quickly.Furthermore, developed a software which could manage the spectral data moreefficient.
