New Meteorological Signal Simulator Control System Design

Automatic Weather Station (AWS) is a meteorological equipment that collecting meteorological elements data automatic、processing data、storing data and transfer data.it has been widely used in various fields of military and civil.In recent years, with the development of electronic science and technology, the performance of AWS has been improved steadily,the requirements about the accuracy and stability of AWS is also increasing.If you want to Improve the level of sophistication of AWS,we need to ensure the accuracy of meteorological elements sensor and meteorological data collectors.So,AWS signal simulator system is very important.Meteorological signal simulator system consists of signal simulator modules and module control system simulator.Simulator modules generate the output signal of AWS meteorological sensors,detecting the sensors and the data collectors.Simulator control modules controlling the simulators, setting the value of meteorological elements and their corresponding electrical values,and transmit data to the simulator by way of serial communication.Improving the traditional AWS signal simulator display control system was the goal in this design,giving full play to the role of embedded tech in signal simulator controlling system,designed a new type of weather signal simulator display control system.The traditional simulator controlling system use the MCU as the system core,3.7inches LCD module as the showing screen,communicate with the simulator from the key inputs.the traditional system refresh slow,user experience is not good enough because of the screen size, running single task at the same time.The new meteorological signal simulator display control system use the STM32core as the computing center of this hardware system,7inches LCD module display the interface between user and the machine.transmit the values of meteorological elements and their corresponding electrical values to the simulator with the SPI system bus.In this design,we developed the system software int the uVision4IDE,embedded operating system UC/OS-Ⅱ as a multitask operating platform,meanwhile, transplanting UC/GUI to provide an interface API,complete the code of the serial communication part,achieving the communication between controlling system and simulator in multitask situation by user interfaces.Finally,through testing and verification,the new AWS signal simulator display control system working steady, communicate with the simulator normally,basically meet the requirements of this design.
