Eichhornia crassipes is one of the plants that grew quickest in the world. It is native to the Amazon basin. In the last few years, the Eichhornia crassipes plants were applied in Tai Lake for purifying the water and reusing the Eichhornia crassipes. But we found the biomass of the Eichhornia crassipes in the open lake was inaccessibly to the biggest biomass, to meet the highly effective application. Therefore how to exhibit the ability of the dry biomass accumulation in the Eichhornia crassipes would become one of important hot topics in the modern highly effective agriculture practiceIn this paper, we studied the growth, plant morphology,the biomass accumulation and the adapt regulatory mechanisms in vivo of Eichhorina crassipes in a different conditions. We hope to explore a new way for the resource utilization of Eichhorina crassipes in the Tai Lake, Dianchi Lake and other areas.In our study showed:1The diurnal changes of photosynthetic characteristics in Eichhornia crassipes showing a noon siesta phenomenon, and belong to C3plants. The Eichhornia crassipes showed a single peak curve trend in June, but in July and August, it was showing a bimodal curve. And the photosynthesis of senescent leaves is very low.2.After UV-B treatment, plant type of Eichhornia crassipes showed a compact growth trend and reduce the biomass by reducing the root elongation, leaf growth and the growth of ramets.UV-B treatment of3h will be inhibit the chlorophyll content to decreased the conversion of light energy absorption, and significantly inhibited the activity of Rubisco, which resulted lower photosynthesis. At the same time, the antioxidant system of Eichhornia crassipes after3h UV-B treatment has been damaged, while the1,2h processing will demonstrate appropriate resistance.3.Eichhornia crassipes is different in different time periods of the day in shade, usually the strong light in the morning is necessary for growth and shad ing in this time is significantly inhibited the growth,and the noon and afternoon shadding treatment showed a annual difference.The study in2010showed that the afternoon shade could promote it’s material accumulated. Shadding in noon will reduce light and temperature which induced Rubisco activity increased, and reduced the content of reactive oxygen species, thereby contributing to improved photosynthesis.4.Potassium handling will inhibit the growth of Water part, but will promote root growth. of Eichhornia crassipes.Potassium handling will increase oxidative stress product and reduce the activity of antioxidant system in vivo of Eichhornia crassipes which caused adversity injury.
