The Dabaoliang landslide is a typical translational gliding landslide in Wanzhou District of Chongqing City.Currently,at home and abroad researches on the translational gliding landslide mainly focuse on the reservoir bank landslides which are wading and the critical water level.But researches on the relationship between the water level of crack slot which is the after edge of landslide and the continuity of landslide displacement,and in terms of understanding its genetic mechanism existing vary.Therefore, researching for the deformation and failure mechanism of Dabaoliang landslide will help our understanding of translational gliding landslide, and has a guiding significance for disaster prevention and reduction.This article will study the Dabaoliang landslide in Wanzhou District of Chongqing City, base on the site survey and access, for in-depth study of Dabaoliang landslide by theoretical analysis and numerical simulation methods.And propose effective prevention and treatment recommendations based on research results. The main contents and results of this study are as follows:(1)This paper describes the geological environment of Dabaoliang landslide such as location, meteorological and hydrological condition, topography, lithology, geological structure, human activities.Then expatiates on the basic features of Dabaoliang landslide such as shape, size, composition of the material, hydrogeological characteristic, physical and mechanical properties of rock and soil.(2)This paper analysises the genetic mechanism of Dabaoliang landslide from two aspects of internal geological factors and external inducing factors, and formed by the two combined effect of factors. Internal factors include the landslide area of geological topography, meteorology and hydrology and lithology; external inducing factors include landslide area of human activity and rainfall.(3)In this paper, a large international common geotechnical numerical simulation software Geostudio-seep was used to simulate and calculate the seepage field of Dabaoliang landslide.The results of analysis show that:with water level of crack slot rising, the waterhead gradually increasing in the trailing edge of geotechnical landslide body, while the waterhead of the leading edge of the landslide area which loosely packed changing slightly; with water level of crack slot rising, the region under the saturation line in the rock and soil of landslide becoming larger and larger, which is very detrimental to the stability of the landslide.When the trailing edge crack slot water level is low, the water in landslide will transude from cut export of the main body, while when the trailing edge crack slot water level is high, the water in landslide will transude from cut export of the main body and the times body.(4)Before numerical simulation and calculation of stability of Dabaoliang landslide, this paper has described the current theories and methods which were used to analysis the stability of landslide, and discussed the calculation principle of Morgenstern-price. On this basis, simulated and calculated the stability of main body and the times body of Dabaoliang landslide by the software Geostudio-slope. The results of the simulation and calculation show that;with water level of crack slot rising, the stability factor of main body and the times body of Dabaoliang landslide were gradually reducing, but the magnitude reduced of main body was larger;the steady state of main body was highly sensitive to the water level of crack slot;with water level of crack slot rising, the main body first becoming unstable state and deformation.When main body destroyed, the water level of crack slot will reduce sharply decline, so the stability factor of times body will remain at1.000or more.(5)By simplifying assumptions and model conditions, calculated and analysised the relationship between the width of crack slot and displacement of Dabaoliang landslide.The displacement of Dabaoliang landslide from start to brake is increasing with the increasing of crack slot’s width, so ought to control the translational gliding landslide early.(6)This paper calculated the stability factor and researched the stability of Dabaoliang landslide impacted by the water level of crack slot,the weight of the slide,the cohesion and angle of internal friction of slide.According to the results of calculating and comparative analysis the importance factor of the stability of Dabaoliang landslide.(7)Based on the supply and discharge conditions of the groundwater, genetic mechanism,stability and its influencing factors of Dabaoliang landslide, proposed the prevention program of focus on building drainage projects and supplemented by plugging cracks and monitor measures, then briefly analysised and described the various control measures.
