Network Control System (NCS) is a closed loop control system constituted byconnecting the communication network. Compare with the traditional point-type controlsystems, network control system has a lot of advantages as low cost, easy installation andmaintenance.So it is very helpful to distribute and intelligent control, and it is veryrobust stability. In recent years, network control systems has been increasingly widelyused in medicine, smart transportation, aerospace, manufacturing and nation defensefields. As a special case of stability, passivity put the product of the input and out put ofthe system as an energy supply, reflecting the system under bounded energy attenuationcharacteristics of input conditions, the system can remain passive system of internalstability. Passivity provides an effective way for control system design and analysis, italso provide a new method to construct Lyapunov function of nonlinear systems. Andplay an important role in optimal control, robust control and other aspects.This paper analyzes a class of time delay network control system.First of all,weanalysis the basic structure of the network control system and the current problems, andreviewed the Lyapunov stability theorem, at the same time we also give the passivitytheorem. Secondly, we get the sufficient conditions witch network control system isstable and connect passivity analysis and the network control system,using theLyaponuv-Krasovskii method, the sufficient conditions of passivity for the nonlinearnetwork control system with time-varying delays, which two different cases of timedelays are taken into account, are given.In summary, this paper study the stability and passive analysis for a class of networkcontrol system with time delay. Finally, a numerical example with simulations shows thecorrection of the results and the effectiveness of the proposed method.
