In recent years, Satellite navigation technology is playing an increasinglyimportant role in various fields for it can provide global, all-weather, real-time,continuous, high-precision navigation services, and with the ICAO’s popularizing theconcept of new navigation system, international civil aviation community began to usethe satellite navigation systems widespreadly. But currently, it is limited to the en-routephase of aerospace applications due to the reason of satellite navigation system’saccuracy. So in order to make the satellite navigation systems can be applied to entireprocess of aerospace applications, people began to conduct research on satellite signals,trying to come up with a satellite-enhancement technology to improve the accuracy ofsatellite navigation, and to realize the satellite navigation’s seamless navigation serviceson civil aviation. In this context, this article conduct simulation research on satellite(GPS/Compass) navigation signals. Through the analysis of satellite basic theory, wehave built the corresponding simulation software platform, and successfully simulatedthe satellite signal. The results of this research not only can provide satellite navigationsimulation test signals for the application test system, but also can be used as aground-based enhance navigation technology to improve its local positioningaccuracy,so to achieved the satellite navigation system’s seamless navigation andsurveillance services on civil aviation after it is upgraded.To start with, this paper analyzes the composition of the satellite navigationsystem.Through the in-depth analysis of the signals principles of GPS and Beidousatellite navigation system, we have built the corresponding modules by Simulinksoftware, and set up a satellite signal generator module. Besides due to the currentBeidou satellite navigation system’s signal information is incomplete, this paper onlyconduct GPS signals verification with the satellite signal generator module which webuilt. By comparing the theoretical spectrum and the signal spectrum which generate bythe satellite signal generator module, verify the correctness of this simulation. Then weanalyzed the main interference sources during the satellite signal propagation process, and focus on the research on the multipath interference and noise, though in-depth studyand analyze, we have built corresponding interference modeling module. Finally, on thebasis of previous studies, we have set up both single and multi-channel satellite signalsimulator simulation platform, and successfully complete this research tasks.
