Nowadays, Satellite Navigation Positioning System is playing a more and more important part in all fields, especially in modern wars. Just in such an international environment, this thesis, which is based on the manufacturing of the Simulation Testing System of Ground Running and Controlling System of××Model, builds up a software platform for signal simulation. This simulation platform is to validate the performance of the algorithms for signal generation. Finally, the results of the research will be used to improve our own navigation system.The principles and realizations of GPS signals are discussed in thesis first. Beginning with the research in characters of GPS signals, the structure of the simulation platform for GPS signals are set up, considering the generating and receiving theories of signals used in Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum Communication System. This platform is realized at last, using the software SystemView and Matlab. In the thesis, the whole process of signal's generating, transmission, and receiving is almost simulated, from simulating signals of single satellite to signals of multi-satellites, from simulating a whole system based on principles with SystemView to simulating signals which are better simulation of real GPS signals with Matlab. Results of a series of experiments prove that the whole simulation system almost has the function of the generator and receiver of GPS signals, as well, the receiver part can give out correct output of delay of PN code and the carrier frequency in a certain precision.
