Penaeus chinensis where lives in Chinese containing a single whey acid protein structure domain(SWD) has a has a dual function of broad-spectrum antibacterial and protease inhibitory activity. In order to develop these antimicrobial peptides into medicinal products, our researchers contrasted the transgenic drosophila melanogasters which contain the swd genes, and research the preparation, characteristics and function of the SWD Antimicrobial peptides.By using the qRT-PCR detection, we have found that the transgenic flies high with swd gene expression.Preparation by acidolysis the drosophila melanogaster which have the swd gene, we have already prepared the antibacterial peptide product of SWD,which it has a thermal stability and acid resistance. The antibacterial peptide products possess the resistance to protease activity what is secreted by Bacillus subtitles.we can use the absorbance to detect of the antibacterial peptide products posses the functions which are inhibiting elastase, subtilis proteinase A, the activity of proteinase K.By the detection of minimum Inhibitory Concentration(MIC)and filtering paper method, we found this products can inhibit the variety of gram-positive bacteria, gram-negative bacteria and fungi.Through feeding with the Musca domestica, Misgurnus anguillicaudatus, mice and external use test, we found that the product which has the functions of antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and the weight. The rabbit red blood cell is safe.In addition, SWD high gene expression of transgenic drosophila melanogaster showed strong antibacterial function and low mortality. Therefore, this product has advantages of the development the green feed additive and new antimicrobial products.
