The well logging technology is realized through a variety of well logging tools. The detecting device is indispensably used to monitor the working state of the logging tools in the process of their manufacture and maintenance. This paper is focused on the practical application of digital focus array induction logging tool. The detection system based on CAN bus is designed to realize the logging tool’s working state control, measurement and calibration, and other functions through the wireless WIFI network and the USB interface connected to the computer.This paper firstly introduces the working principle of digital focus array induction logging tool, analyzes the signal transmission of logging tool and proposes the methods and thoughts of detecting device. Then the concrete design scheme is put forward based on the methods and thoughts. What is introduced in detail is that the design of the main control circuit, various interface circuit, the voltage and current collection and display circuit and the data transmission module. The main control circuit mainly adopts C8051F060 main control chip to realize the control of the whole circuit, including the transmission of signals and format conversion, data collection and display. The interface circuit design includes the CAN interface circuit, USB interface circuit and WIFI interface circuit. The voltage and current collection and display circuit mainly adopts the bi-directional single phase power/energy metering IC chip CS5460 A with serial interface to realize the collection of the voltage and current, which then is transmitted to the main control chip through SPI bus.The test process of the digital focus array induction logging tool is studied, which provides the technical support for the measurement and control software. The measurement and control software for human-computer interaction is developed under the VS2010 development environment and based on the MFC class library to realize the control of the tool’s working state, measurement and the calibration. The software mainly includes the communication module, data analysis module, data display module and data storage module. The communication module includes two different communication modes which are USB serial port and network communication. The data analysis is mainly by calling the dynamic link library to parse the underlying data and obtain the useful data. The data display module mainly uses the listbox control to realize to display large amounts of data. The data storage module mainly adopts document flow and automation programming based on COM(component object model) technology to achieve the save of the text files, Excel and Word file, which are used for the post processing.The detecting device can realize the working state control of the tool, measurement and the calibration through a serious of tests.
