X-ray diffraction instrument has important applications in medicine, industry, geology and so on. The power system is one of the core part of the X-ray diffraction instrument, research on the high-performance power has a positive effect on the development of X-ray Industry. Since the advent of the computer,it development rapidly and make the digital trend of all areas is inevitable and traditional control methods will be abandoned. With the development of a variety of embedded microprocessor,power supply based digital control will development fast because of its high stability and flexibility. In many important applications of X-ray, we need to make a remote control for the device. Traditional control methods are not conducive to a remote control device, and the use of digital control scheme can easily use the computer to remotely control.First, this paper describes the two important part-the filament power supply used to excite electrons and the high voltage power supply used to improve the speed of electrons. Filament power supply generate low-sinusoidal voltage, high frequency high voltage power supply generate DC high voltage. Because of the development trend of the device is small, convenient, and traditional high-voltage power supply is too bulky, so for the part of high-voltage power, this paper choose the high-frequency implementations to make the high-voltage power supply smaller.By comparing the various circuit topologies, select the rational circuit configuration and make a detailed explanation about the principle of SPWM and the Principe of full-bridge series-parallel resonant.Then,based on the selected circuit configuration and the trend of development in this field,it proposed a control scheme which use STM32 and EPM240. In this paper, the control system is divided into five parts, voltage and current monitoring module is used to measure the current an the voltage in system, temperature control module is used to control temperature, the filament power supply control module is used to keep the filament’s voltage on a value system need, high frequency high voltage power supply control module is used to keep high voltage on a value system need.and paper make a detailed description about their circuit design and control scheme in turn.Finally,this paper proposes a software solution based on the selected hardware.It elaborate the software control flow and the specific method to realize the control scheme and explain the PC software design based on Lab View,realize people control power supply use PC software.This paper designs a digital control scheme about X-ray diffraction instrument power and it meet the conditions of practical application and make a good foundation about actual production.
