Land use is regarded as the most outstanding view sign of the surface layer system of the earth,then its change impacts on land surface temperature, resulting in signification urban heat island effect. Whether the Land use or land surface temperature are both important studied fields in global change in recent years.The remote sensing technique is the important mean to carry on the dynamic monitoring of Land use change,and inverse the surface temperature.In order to find out the best method,this article uses the 2005、2006、2009、2010 years Landsat 5TM remote sensing image of Liuzhou city, takes max likelihood、support vector machine and neural net three methods to classify land use, gets the water、woodland、agricultural land and city construction area’s land use change,estimates land surface temperature using the remote sensing model,analyzes land use change impacts on land surface temperature in Liuzhou city during Eleventh Five-Year Plan from 2005 to 2010, gets the mainly driving forces by analyzing correlation of Liuzhou city land use changes and socio-economic development indicators, explores the remote sensing monitoring technique methods of urban sustainable development.The results show that,water and woodland has a few decrease, maintains at 4.4% and 30% respectively.The significant land use change are agricultural land and city construction area, mostly city construction area’s increase comes from the government expropriation, city construction area increase from 13.5% to 20.2%, agricultural land decrease from 50.2% to 45.0%. The inversion land surface temperature of that four days respectively are 26.2℃、 19.6℃、28.2℃、18.7℃. Combined with the classification images,gets the water、woodland、 agricultural land and city construction area’s mean temperature at that four days respectively are 23.7℃、24.1℃、26.2℃、32.3℃;17.0℃、18.1℃、19.6℃、23.8℃;23.2℃、25.5℃、28.4℃、 33.3 ℃; 16.8℃、16.3℃、18.5℃、23.5℃. Land use change impacts on land surface temperature are these:water mean surface temperature is lowest, has promotion impact to improve urban heat island effect; vegetation (included woodland and agricultural land), account for more than 75%,its decrease results in land surface temperature rising,aggravating urban heat island effect;city construction area mostly is impervious surface cover,and the impervious surface cover temperature rising quickly under the sun,the increase of construction area results in land surface temperature rising, becomes the responsibility of urban heat island effect.Liuzhou city construction area has a significant positive correlation with population GDP、gross industrial production and investment in real estate development by analyzing.
