The Haoyaoerhudong gold deposit is a mesothermal gold deposit, it’s ore-bearing rock is carbonaceous slate. It occurred in the Bayan Obo Group of the Mesoproterozoic, which the lithology is sedimentary strata. The ore, which is found in layer shape, is rigorously controlled by the stratum. According to the single mineral pyroelectricity of pyrites and the microelement characteristics from three drill cores and their relationship to gold mineralization, the deep mineralization potential of gold deposits was forecasted, and the main conclusions are as follows.Firstly, most thermal conductivity is given priority to hybrid type, a few belongs to P type. The pyrite thermoelectric coefficient ranges from-325.0 to 335.6 u V?℃-1, concentrating in-110.62~272.28 u V?℃-1. Appearance rate of P type pyrite change regularly in vertical. Thus indicate that pyrite samples in drill core DDH90 are located in shallow orebody and that there is good potential of deep extension. In the drill core DDH99, the mineralization is better in the upper and the lower part, where have good prospect potential. There may have huge ore body in the deep of the drill hole of DDH101.Secondly, correlation analysis, cluster analysis and factor analysis of 11 trace elements show that, the primary halo zoning sequence is Co, Sb, Ba, V, Cu, Ni, Pb, Zn-Bi, W, Mo. The lower part of ore body is enriched in Bi, indicating that the denudation rate of the lower part of the ore body is rather big. Superimposition betweentail halo elements Bi, V and front elements shows that the gold deposit may underwent different metallogenic events.Lastly, the author chooses Sb, Ba, Cu, Pb, Zn, Mo, Bi, Co, 8 kinds of trace elements as gold indicator elements, Among them, Sb, Ba are front halo indicator elements, Cu, Pb, Zn are close mine halo indicator elements, Bi, Mo, Co are tail halo elements. Through analyzing the drill core’s characteristics of the trace elements, the zoning sequence of primary halos(shaft), the veticai change rule of the geochemical parameters G and application of trianguluar diagram analysis method, the author has researched the spatial distribution characteristics of each drill core’s trace elements. The results show that the drill hole DDH90 and DDH101 have good prospect potential in Haoyaoerhudong gold deposit. The drill hole DDH90 in the depth of 360 m has a best mineralization degree, the mineralization degree of drill hole DDH99 near 1159 m is good. The drill hole DDH101 may has a certain prospect of mineralization within the depth range and deeper. It has a good metallogenic prospect below 360 m in Haoyaoerhudong west mining area, the deposit also has a wonderful metallogenic prospect below 352 m in Haoyaoerhudong east mining area.
