Slope instability as one of the global three major geological disasters serious threat to the state property and the security of the people. And the landslide occurrence and development is a progressive, gradual destruction process. Therefore, there is a very important project value and social significance to research the stability trends of landslide based on actual monitoring data of landslide. In the paper,in the background of simple homogeneous landslide and Shuijingbao landslide,by using of CAD three-dimensional modeling, ANSYS, FLAC3 D, Excel, lstop and other software for modeling, computing, data recording analysis and summarizing, we can verify a stability analysis method which apply to landslides. The conclusions are as follows:1. Through the analysis of qualitative and quantitative, by analyzing the engineering geological exploration, structure characteristics of the landslide boundary, size and morphology, deformation characteristics and the other characteristics, we can use the software for calculating the stability of landslide, which can achieve the expected objective and actual demand.2. Through the stability analysis of landslide, the Shuijingbao landslide in natural condition is in stable state, but is less stable in the storm condition. If the landslide is instable, slope toe will cut out. According to the obvious deformation at present, the landslide which results to housing deformation and surface cracking is currently in the strong deformation stage.3. Because of the strength reduction method without assuming the force between soil strips and failure surface position and shape, we can directly get the safety factor and the slip surface. This method can deal with complex geometry and boundary conditions, and has wide applicability and good application prospect.
