Vegetation cover and its change is an important regiona l ecological environment change information on hydrology, ecology, global change and so has important implications. Vegetation coverage is a measure of the surface condition of the plant cover a comprehensive index, is a description of vegetation communities and ecosystems of important parameters; and changes in vegetation coverage is an important indication of regional ecological environment change, to reveal the spatial variation of the surface, analysis and evaluation of the regional ecological significance. The whole "triangle" south wing, distributed across the north and south of Hangzhou Bay, with Hangzhou Bay Bridge construction tends integration, promote the Hangzhou Bay area into a large open great development, great development and construction period, becoming an emerging new era of development in Zhejiang "Hangzhou Bay Economic Zone" area and Zhejiang. At the same time the rapid development of the city of Hangzhou Gulf Coast, but also consider the ecological environment and sustainable development, so the vegetation coverage area change dynamic monitoring makes sense. In this study, as the study area along the coast of Hangzhou Bay, the use of remote sensing images MODIS13Q1 of year 2001-2013, the vegetation coverage selected pixel dichotomous mode l years 2001-2013 to estimate the study area, and the dynamic changes of the Hangzhou Bay coast in 13 years and the vegetation coverage The factors were analyzed. The results are as follows:(1) 2001-2013 overall spatial characteristics of the Hangzhou Bay NDVI values showed a significant decreasing trend, in 2001 the entire coast of Hangzhou Bay NDVI values are large, vegetation coverage is better, 2013 NDVI values decreased significantly as a whole, each county city vegetation coverage differences are significant. 2001-2013, Hangzhou Gulf Coast’s largest vegetation coverage averages between 72%-79% fluctuations, vegetation index overall downward trend, the annual average annual reduction of vegetation coverage ratio was 22.19%. High vegetation coverage area have mainly Pinghu C ity, Zhejiang Province, Haiyan, Haining C ity, south of Shangyu C ity, south of Yuyao, Beilun District, N ingbo and Zhoushan southern city of Shanghai Pudong New Area, Fengxian District, Jinshan District, C ixi City, Zhejiang Province N ingbo Zhenhai distribution of vegetation coverage with high vegetation coverage based.(2) 2001-2013 years, Hangzhou Gulf Coast Four Seasons average vegetation coverage are showing a downward trend, the year the monthly average vegetation coverage change significantly, showing a bimodal curve, a small peak reached in March, was 51.29%, the emergence of a in May valley, to 45.82%, in September reached the highest value 61.9%. Which from January to March and June to August is obviously on the rise, and from September to December for the rapid decline phase.(3) Along the coast of Hangzhou Bay in order to reduce the change of vegetation coverage, a slight decrease and stabilize the main, the vegetation coverage in the lower 11 counties trends are obvious, which significantly reduce the area of the larger districts have Pudong New District, N ingbo C ity, Yuyao, Shangyu and C ixi. 2001-2013 annual vegetation coverage and the south bank of Hangzhou Bay tended to decrease, 2001-2005, Hangzhou Gulf overall vegetation coverage by the south bank of Hangzhou Bay, a greater impact on the vegetation coverage, 2005-2013, the whole coast of Hangzhou Bay vegetation coverage by the south bank of Hangzhou Bay, the impact decreases by increasing influence North Shore, North Shore and trends converge.(4) 2001-2013 Hangzhou Bay on the coast of high vegetation coverage reduction is mainly due to the decrease in land area, increasing urban construction land area. The vegetation coverage and a higher increase in the area of ecological vegetation cover and the government first, the concept of sustainable development to some extent. Reduction and destruction of rivers, lakes and other bodies of water wetlands low vegetation coverage area of a relationship.(5) 2001-2013 vegetation coverage in the fall and fall into a significant negative correlation between precipitation in spring and summer season with the corresponding vegetation coverage is weak negative correlation between rainfall in the spring and autumn 2001-2013 maximum and mean vegetation coverage corresponding seasonal temperatures showed a significant positive correlation between spring and winter maximum vegetation coverage and the corresponding mean seasonal temperatures weak correlation。...
