Gaotaizi oilfield is located in the south of Daqing placanticline of the central depression area in the northern Songliao basin, Fuyang oil layers in the third or fourth period of Quantou formation in the Mesozoic cretaceous. Faults are well developed in Gaotaizi oil field, therefore the reservoir is obviously controlled by faults. Reservoir properties and their controlling factors are more vague, which directly affects the exploration and development of the study area. For this reason it’s important to conduct research on these issues.Based on the existing research results and three-dimensional seismic, logging and geological data in the study area, on the basis of applying the structural geology, seismic exploration and accumulation dynamics theory, systematically studies the tectonic evolution and development characteristic and oil accumulation model and main control factors, oil and water distribution, etc.Through analysis of fracture system and evolution characteristics of the Gaotaizi oilfield, identifies a thrust in the northwestern Gaotaizi oilfield, and the reverse fault develops in the Denglouku and Quantou formation, the main development time is late early normal fault reversal form, disappearing within the shale in Qingshankou formation. The fault has a certain control function on both sides of the hydrocarbon accumulation.Based on the study of fracture characteristics in the study area, summarizes the and water distribution, and analysis the control factors of oil and water distribution. Research suggests that in the vertical mainly appears upper oil and lower water, and oil-water interface is difference in different traps, in the flat oil and water distribution is controlled by the local structures and faults cutting. The oil and gas around the fracture dense zones contiguously distribution and relatively enrich; high structure mainly develop oil layer, and the oil layers thin down to the lower portion, oil and water distribution is controlled by structure obviously.On the basis of trap anatomy, studies oil and gas accumulation conditions, reservoir types, from the aspects such as research of structure and lithology analysis as main control factors, among them the tectonic background and the development of trap conditions is the key to oil accumulation. Summarizes the accumulation mode, namely the marginal source shortdistance vertical migration accumulation model and the source outside long-distance lateral migration controlling accumulation pattern.
