Jiagedaqi, the capital of DXAL is located in the northwest of HeiLonjiang the climate is so cold and the annual average of temperature is minus 2 degrees Celsius in winter. The small East Rive lies in the northeast of Jiagedaqi is about 20 km long, during dry river is about 2.0 m wide.At the beginning of this century, many places of its happened water overflow phenomenon, it is influenced by the winter cold and frozen at the end of the East Rive,the around of the East Rive ice quantity increasing that caused the part of road and bridges near the river were destroyed.It also influenced the normal life of local residents and the life and property safety were threat.The problem has caused attaches great importance to scientific research workers in the general cold regions.This paper takes the East Rive of Jiagedaqi as a typical research area, based on the investigation of the East Rive in winter, recharge condition,supply, hydrogeological conditions of the area and the impact of cold groundwater overflow icing factors, and to determine the winter groundwater overflow channel application of geophysical exploration methods of apparent resistivity combined profiles, while using the "narrow slot" principle of making "in groundwater overflow icing model" of the East Rive to research groundwater overflow icing phenomenon, mechanism simulation, and determine the icing rule. And for further study of cold groundwater overflow icing and laid the theoretical foundation for solving the hydro geological disasters.
