With the widely application of GPS in the modern life, the demand of high precision GPS measurement is increasing gradually, such as the precise navigation positioning, the deformation monitoring of high-rise buildings in urban, the studies of the crustal movement. The processes which are similar with the deformation monitoring and the vertical movement of the global sea require the long-term measurement. The calculation of this long measurement in each shorter epoch is minute volume. But if you neglect the impact of the phase center variation in the long-term measurement, it is highly probable that you characterize its phenomenon to the small one or the opposite one. So it’s unable to obtain the change of real results, and therefore cannot pay enough attention to real change. It will bring enormous malignant influence to the economy, disaster prevention and major decision-making. The phase center error will affect the baseline result, especially in the height measurement. The phase center error of the GPS receiver antenna is one of the most important error in high precision GPS measurement. This receiver antenna phase center must be the instantaneous phase center.In order to improve the precision of GPS measurement, this paper focuses on summarizing and classifying the research of the antenna phase center. Compared with other scholars’ study, this paper puts forward a new GPS antenna phase model of dual antenna with one clock on the basis of research results. This method avoids effectively the disadvantages of the traditional antenna phase center model. The author designs experiments to confirm the effectiveness of the model in this paper.The main research contents include in this paper are as follows.(1) Proposing the correction model of this paper, the model takes the Kalman filter and the single difference into consideration. Summarizing the advantages of this model, and proposing the improvement way.(2) Making different experiments and calculating the results by using proposed receiver antenna phase center correction model, including PCO and PCV.
