With the development of economy in C hina, a lot of slope engineering issues in engineering construction are inevitable, especially in the west exploration. If the instability and failure of slope engineering occurs, less affect progress and quality of the project, more cause losses in human lives and economic. So, how to evaluate scientifically for stability of slope is the key issue of slope engineering. Slope engineering is a dynamic, uncertain and complicated system, and stable factors of slope stability is intricate and interact. Those produce lots of difficulties in evaluating the stability of slope. Traditional qualitative and quantitative analysis will affect the accuracy of evaluation results because of its own adaptability and accuracy.On the one hand, the factors of influencing the slope stability are complicated and the traditional evaluation methods are deficient. O n the other hand, the disadvantages of traditional matter-element extension only depend on the subjective experience of valuator and ignore the importance of the characteristic itself for evaluation results. So, in this paper, the extension theory is introduced to the slope stability evaluation, which combined with the game theory and integrating the objective dynamic weight with the subjective static weight forms a comprehensive evaluation method based on extension evaluation. This method is not deterministic but strict, and it overcomes the disadvantages of traditional matter-element extension which only depend on objective weights of indexes and ignore the different influence of the indexes itself for evaluation issue. In the process of evaluation, combining with the existing research results and practical engineering data, summed up the main factors of influencing the slope stability, and the establishment of stable evaluation index and standard. According to using AHP method and entropy weight method to determine the subjective and objective weights of evaluation indexes, and integrating weight method with the game theory to get comprehensive weight to determine the stability of the slope. There is a conclusion which consistent with the actual situation of slope by calculating and analyzing actual slope engineering. And that illustrate the accuracy the rationality of the game theory and matter-element extension comprehensive evaluation.
