Study On The Diversity, Eneyme Producing, And Antibiotic Resistancing Of Adherent Bacteria Isolated From Algaes In Coastal Waters Of China

Many studies have shown that there are abundant microorganism on the surface of algae, which can influence the growth and extinction of algae. In this research,6 kinds of algaes are collected from the coastal waters of China, including Weihai (Shandong province), Sanya (Hainan province) and Beihai (Guangxi province), and 153 bacteria strains are isolated from these algaes by 2216E culture media. The phylogenetic diversities of 16S rDNA and the abilities of enzyme producing, antibiotics resistance, antibacterial ability of these bacteria are examined. The experimental results as follows:(1) The results of 16S rDNA sequence analysis showed that:153 strains were composed of 3 phyla,6 class,61 genera. Among them,88 strains were distributed in 33 genera of Proteobacteria, and the advantage group were in 19 genera of y-proteobacteria. 47 strains were distributed in 22 genera of Bacteroidetes, and the advantage group were in 18 genera of Flavobacteria.18 strains were distributed in 6 genera of Firmicutes, and the advantage group were in 1 genera of Bacilli.5 dominant genera(35.3% of the total strains) belonged to Pseudoalteromonas, Marinobacter, Shewanella, Winogradskyella and Bacillus. In addition, we also found that 35 strains would be potential novel species or novel genera because their 16S rDNA sequence similarity values were less than 98% comparing with closest the type strains.(2) The results of enzyme activity producing showed that:Among 153 strains,56 strains produced oxidase and 63 strains produced catalase; 82strains produced hydrolyses of Tweens 80,55strains produced amylase,13 strains produced gelatinase,80 strains produced aesculinase,12 strains produced chitinase,10 strains produced xanthanase,5 strains produced carrageenan,5 strains produced cellulase,60 strains produced casease.(3) The results of antibiotics resistance and antibacterial ability showed that: there were resistants to rifampin (7strains), ampicillin (30strains), kanamycin (66strains), tetracycline (34strains) and chloramphenico (10strains). In addition, Strains BHB-24、 BHC-Ch-9-1、BHD-19 had antibacterial activity to S. aureus, and strain Zjiang-2 had antibacterial activity to E. coli. The other 149 strains not had the antibacterial abilities. This study is comprehensively to understand the diversities, eneyme producing and antibiotic resistance of algae adherent bacterial isolated from the coastal waters of China, which can settle a good foundation for developing and applicating those bacteria in future.
