The main target stratum of this article is the Putaohua Oil layer of Yaojia Group in Cretaceous Formation(K2y) of Northern Songliao Basin, since the distribution of oil-gas has closely related with faults development and activities, the distribution, migration and preservation of oil-gas in depression has effected by different times faults development and sealing evolution, while the previous research in this area is not deep enough, and it is difficult for further oil-gas exploration. Based on current research, the recognition of accumulation conditions in Shengping-Weixing Area is combined with 3D seismic data, logging data and analyzing test data, detailed and further study has been done in active period, formation and evolution history of fault, division of fault system, fault lateral sealing ability, transporting faults and effectiveness evaluation of fault-related traps. Simultaneously, combined with oil-water distribution law research, reservoir anatomical analysis and other means as well as other accumulation factors, then could recognize the accumulation conditions of Shengping-Weixing Area and optimize favorable evaluation blocks, provide the theoretical basis for further exploration and development of Shengping-Weixing Area, ultimately achieving the purposes of oilfield expansion and storage increasing.Through the above research, summarizing the controlling effects of oil-gas accumulation by fault mainly in the following aspects:(1) faults which connecting source rock and reservoir controlling the distribution of reservoir, the closer to the faults which connecting source rock and reservoir the easier to form reservoir;(2) fault lateral sealing ability has a strong effect on oil-gas, the average fullness extent of 28 fault-related traps in research is 94.7%;(3) fault-sandstone matching types have good control on oil-gas accumulation, ―anti-roof‖ normal fault in source area is the easiest for oil-gas to lateral migration, then traps in two blocks are the favorable areas to form reservoirs, while in non-source area the f fault-sandstone matching type is favorable for oil-gas accumulation;(4) there are masses of fault-related traps in research areas, mainly the following 3 classes faulted nose, faulted blo ck and faulted anticline, oil-gas mainly distribution in traps of faulted anticline and faulted block.
