The traditional research on the stability of the long pole did not consider the influence of initial defects. In this paper, we reconsidered the initial defects impacted on the stability of the long pole on the basis of traditional study. We respectively established the mathematics mode of the traditional research method and the mode of considering the initial defects impacted on the stability of the long pole. We got the conclusion that the load on the top of pole was affected by the deflection function. For different deflection function, the load on the top of pole was different.However, in the practical production, bending deformation was inevitable in the process of casting.If we still calculated the curved pole in the method of the straight pole,this was clearly not right.Therefore we considered not only the original bending deformation of the curved pole, but also the convex deformation as stress occurred, and according to the basic assumption, mechanics model was established.According to deflection function of the curved pole, we could get the load expressions at the top of the pole, and we could also get that the top load of curved pole was related to the parameter Cl of deflection function.In the above process, we considered the initial defects influence of the pole.In order to get better compare of the results, we considered that with change of the length, the load on the pole also changed with parameters Cl. Through the analysis we found that the influence of initial defects on curved pole should not be ignored.In order to get further analyze of the results, we investigated that pile’s bearing capacity was changed with its length, when the pole had the same outer distance.In order to illustrate how the outer distance influence on the bearing capacity of the curved pole, we took different outer distance and analyzed the result of the calculation.
