Fangcun mining area is a ductile shear zone type gold deposit newly found in North Jiangxi area in China. Based on the comprehensive analysis on the regional geological data, this work mainly focus on the relationship between the ductile shear zone and gold metallogenic process, and the metallogenic characteristics of the Fangcun area inFuliang County and its surrounding, and their prospecting.Within the Fangcun mining area, the NE-NNE fracture zones show right column type in their distribution and further control the right column type distribution of the ore bodies in plane. In profile, extrusion fracture zone is characterized by developmental characteristics of right column type arrangement. In addition, the ore-containing structures might extend to deep, thinking of their large scale in plane, in the periphery of the mine ore block.The principle of ore-containing extrusion fracture zone is developed based on the theory of ductile shear zone. In Fangcun area, the main kinematics characteristics of ductile shear zone is along the tendency in the direction of thrust shear squeeze, shear line principle structure and deformation mark length axis on the foliation is 60° lateral plunging more angle of lateral plunging, and close to bedding tendency direction.At the same time, the later form including pulse extrusion and also have to squeeze the crumpled pressure shear mechanics properties, therefore, including pulse compression fracture zone to the size of the deep is very considerable, and the ore-controlling tectonic factor analysis on the deep prospecting is very visionPeriod of ore mining area periphery arbutus dock extrusion fracture zone is only the surface groove and a small amount of exploratory drilling engineering control thus the extension of ore-containing extrusion fracture zone in depth is unknown till now. A6-1 ore body, one of the largest mineral bearing structural belt in the mining area, connects intermittently with the Yangmei dock ore block ore belts of extrusion. Engineering discovered data proved that mineralization is weaker in eastern part than in western part of this mineralization belt. On the basis of borehole data, it is found that, in the A6 ore zone, fracture zone extends to a depth of hundreds of meters in the tilt. In the deep part, deformation is not weakened. Otheiwise, a good mineralization with Au grade up to 33 x 10-6 was found there. Considering the limited drilling depth of 500 meters, it is plausible that the deep prospecting of A6 should have very good vision.
