With the increasing demand for water resources of people, to take effectivemeasures to prevent the groundwater pollution and excessive exploitation andprotection of groundwater gradually aroused people’s attention increasingly. theimportance of reasonable exploitation and utilization of groundwater resources hasbecome a major problem to be solved. Natural electric logging methods of detectionand signal receiving device has extensive application prospect, it is mainly used inmining production and living water, the dam leakage inspection and coal mine waterdisasters prevention and control. In this paper, starting from the basic principle ofnatural electric field detection, detection model is established, and the natural electricfield signal receiving device be designed, and natural electric field detection method isproposed, and the natural electric field of layered signal analysis method is studiedbased on LabVIEW to identify and extract the natural electric field signals andunderground fissure groundwater in detecting signal, and the inversion of thestratigraphic structure is based on layered natural electric field signal, finally it’sgetting better validations in engineering exploration.The paper compares the details of the study in natural electric field detectionmethod, the analysis of the principle of the natural electric field detection, thedetection model, the design of the natural electric field signal receiving device, thedata analytical method, the stratigraphic structure inversion and field detectionexperiments. The main research content is as follows:(1) the natural electric field detection principle is analyzed, and the mathematicalmodel of natural electric field detection is established, and the natural electric fieldsignal receiving device is designed. The natural electric field detection method isproposed.(2) the natural electric field of layered signal analysis method based on LabVIEWis introduced, to identify and extract the natural electric field signals and undergroundfissure groundwater in detecting signal. the performance based on layered signal theformation of natural electric field structure.(3) the field testing experiments. Through experiments and field tests, the receiveris verified basically and detecting methods can accurately detect groundwater andunderground fissure.
