The exploration information is important information generated in the process ofoilfield exploration. Scientific management and application of these information resourceshas a very important significance to avoid making mistakes, improving exploration successratio. How to make comprehensive use of these information to guide the oil explorationand production exploration is the common concern of the problem of petroleum geologists.Seismic deployment is an important link in exploration, appropriate project deployment isrelation to the subsequent of a series of exploration work. The3D full coverage map ofblock in Jiyang depression is an important datum in the deployment seismic area of EasternShengli oilfield. The previous seismic drawing takes researchers a lot of time to collectdata, and then check the data, to complete the final again through the manual orsemi-manual mode, and that is time-consuming and laborious.This paper aims at the completion of the development of area coverage map drawingsoftware platform in the.NET platform of Microsoft, using C#language, on the basis ofShengli Oilfield exploration database and the analyze of data structure, database ofgeophysical data sources, map layout, graphics rendering. It can easily draw the map onthe platform, and assist researchers in seismic deployment area design and decision. Thispaper starts from the analysis of exploration database of geophysical data, references to thelatest data standards, and creates the application form according to the demand ofapplication design, using transfer technology completed batch data transfer andsynchronization update. Then conducts the research to the design of drawing platformmaps, from three layers architecture describes the function module partition databaseaccess to data, and the detailed design of each module. Then researched the seismic areacovering mapping technology, layers of decomposition of complex maps, and used the optimal layout algorithm to complete the map element layout display. Finally introducedthe research results of the software and its application in exploration and production.Based on the design and research of platform overall architecture, data service andgraphical navigation component, it developed a portable, scalable mapping platform, tomeet the development needs of the platform. At present, the earthquake area coverage mapdrawing platform has been fully applied in the seismic deployment, it solved the problemof time and energy wasting in data collecting and graphics drawing by researchers. At thesame time, the application platform for drawing in the production has a very importantsignificance for improving the seismic area information utilization ratio and seismicdeployment of personnel’s working efficiency.
