The objective of this dissertation is to develop a low-cost,low-power and goodperformance Strapdown Inertial Navigation Computer which based on Fiber Optic Gyro technology. The research focuses on two main aspects: theoretical design and engineering practice.Besides, the algorithm’ design is introduced in detail and the system’s design and test are completed. The major contents of this paper are as follows:1.Comparing the design methods of various types of navigation computers at foreign and domestic.Combining the users’ needs to the design of the overall architecture of the navigation computer.Completing the overall framework of the system and then analying the select methods of system’s key components.2.Researching navigation computer hardware design solutions. In this part, the paper made concrete analysis of each hardware module’s design method, and described the hardware implementation method of each module circuit particularly. In addition, this section also focused on introducing and analyzing the design of key modules such as signal conditioning,A/D conversion, temperature measurement units from the theoretical perspective.3.Researching navigation software design. This part can be mainly divided into two aspects: bottom-driven design and navigation program design. The bottom driver design introduced the design method of the navigation computer bottom software and built a system software platform. The navigation program design introduced the SINS/GPS integrated navigation algorithm based on Kalman filter, and introduced the program design flow.4.After completed the overall design of the navigation computer, the system’s function are examed in the rest of this paper. The test’s indicators can be described as following: the data acquisition ability and the stability performance of the navigation computer under different disturbances.
